Just as we carefully nurture our plants, we stand behind the quality of every item we ship. If you’re not happy with your order, we’re here to help.
Gardener’s Note: Due to the living nature of our products, some restrictions apply to plant returns. Please see section 4 for details about non-returnable items.
1. Return & Exchange Eligibility
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. To be eligible:
- Items must be in their original condition (for non-plant products)
- Plants must show signs of damage or health issues upon arrival
- You must provide proof of purchase
2. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Follow these simple steps to return or exchange an item:
- Contact us within 15 days of delivery at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return
- Our plant care team will review your request and may ask for photos of damaged items
- Once approved, we’ll email you return instructions and a return authorization number
- Pack your return carefully (see packing tips below)
- Ship your return using the method we specify

3. Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
- Your refund will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
- For exchanges, we’ll ship your replacement as soon as possible
4. Non-Returnable Items
To protect our living products, the following cannot be returned:
- Live plants that have been planted or cared for improperly (clematis vines, encore azaleas, groundcover plants, etc.)
- Herb plants that show signs of use or harvesting
- Topiary plants that have been trimmed or shaped differently
- Any item not in its original condition
Exception: We will replace plants that arrive dead or severely damaged if reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
5. Packing Tips for Returns
Help your plants make the return journey safely:
- Use the original packaging if possible
- For potted plants, secure the soil with plastic wrap
- Include all plant tags and care instructions
- Mark the package “Fragile – Live Plants”
6. International Returns
For customers outside the United States:
- You are responsible for return shipping costs
- Please check your country’s regulations regarding plant imports
- We cannot refund original shipping costs for international orders
